Mixed Media Magic: Draw, Paint, and Collage Your Artistic Voice! With Melanie Zucker Stanley

Award Winning Artist, Degree in Fine Arts Education, Years of Experience teaching, painting, and exhibiting.

Explore your own artistic voice and creativity as you paint your way into

Autumn with warmth, shadows, light, and color!  Come and learn different, exciting, and fun techniques for making beautiful art in a very supportive environment with people who love to explore, discover, and learn how to put it all together on canvas, paper, and other substrates.  Learn how drawing your design/ideas leads to painting with confidence and enjoyment, using your choice of materials.  I Love to teach and share my love of art with my students!

We draw, paint, collage, and work with mixed media as our journeys unfold. The choice of what you use to create art will always be yours!

I will facilitate your creative journey by demonstrating unique and authentic ways to use mixed media (watercolor, acrylics, pencils, pens, mark making and texture tools, photos, interesting papers, and found objects) to complete both representational and abstract compositions.  Demonstrations are designed to build understanding, skill, and expertise with drawing and painting, using colors and textures that will make your heart sing!  We all love to share, and I sometimes bring new materials to class for students to use and/or keep.
