Awards Reception: July 11, 2017, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Reception will be on July 23, 4 – 6pm. Open to the public, food and drink available.
A select panel of jurors evaluated photographs submitted to the competition and selected the finalists. Finalists are invited to exhibit in ArtSpace Herndon’s Post Gallery. From the finalist photographs, the Town of Herndon selects photographs for the 2018 Herndon Town Calendar. Each year in December, more than 7,000 calendars are printed and distributed to all citizens and businesses throughout the town. In addition to the exhibit and publication in the calendar, finalist photographs are eligible to receive the Herndon Town Calendar People’s Choice Award, given to the photograph best representing Herndon.
This exhibit features professional and amateur photographers with the subjects for all entries located within the corporate limits of the Town of Herndon, depicting locations and people, representative of Herndon’s rich diversity and many cultures, participating in seasonal or community events.
