Reception and Meet the Artist: Saturday June 22, 7 – 9pm

Artists statement: "Rough Around the Edges" is a show of my layered paper creations. I take hundreds of kinds of paper and I cut, rip, and/or manipulate the papers as I glue them in layers onto stretched canvas. The medium itself is the unifying force in all of my shows; I show both original works and framed prints. My prints are often thought to be originals because of the excellent sense of depth and three dimensionalities in the prints. My inspiration comes from the world around me and from my papers.
